Sheppard Diagnostic Tool (SDT) is the official diagnostic tool for Sheppard™ Active Steering systems. It offers step-by-step, interactive on-screen guidance for fault code reading, system calibration, health checks and firmware updates, all aligned to factory specifications. Direct integration of proprietary data ensures that every test and adjustment meets original equipment standards, the company added. Embedded help links will connect technicians to support staff for real-time assistance and technical advice. SDT is available as a standalone program and works with any RP1210-compliant VCI.

Starting from Bendix® ACom® AE version 25.2, released on September 18th 2025, Sheppard™ Active Steering systems are not covered by any Bendix product. Sheppard Diagnostic Tool is the only official tool available.

No. All active subscriptions include any updates at no additional charge. This will keep the Sheppard Diagnostic Tool up to date to support the most advanced Sheppard functionality and ECUs. Customers will have to acknowledge the download and the installation when prompted.

• Available hard disk space of a minimum of: 40 GB (NTFS file system is required).
• Hard disk type: SSD.
• Screen minimun resolution: 1366x768.
• USB communication port 2.0 or higher. USB Type-C compatible.
• Microsoft Office 2016 or equivalent (recommended).
• Bluetooth connectivity (recommended).
• Internet connection.

In case of incompatibility with the anti-virus software installed in your PC, please use the exclusion methods offered by those applications.
